Introduction
SMIW Co. can provide all the logistic support to handle and receive wide range of incinerable wastes and transport them to its sister company (Sustainable Environmental Works Co.) which is in Rabigh (Western Region) for incineration.
Incineration is an approved hazardous waste treatment method for a wide range of organic waste streams that are in gaseous, liquid, sludge and solid forms. This process enables to deal with waste types with different and dangerous characteristics such as Ignitability, flammability, Reactivity and Toxicity.
Our processes include
- This incineration system is designed to with total capacity of 1000 kg/h.
- The calorific value for which the system was designed is 4500 kcal/kg.
- The incineration system design includes directing the liquid wastes to the secondary
combustion chamber and to use it as a fuel in this chamber. In the design criteria following basic points are considered:
- 1000 0C in primary combustion chamber
- 1300 0C in secondary combustion chamber with the residence time of 2 seconds
- 10% of Cl content in waste stream
Waste Types can be incinerated
- Chemical sludge
- Flammable Waste
- Oily sludge
- Halogen and non-halogen chemicals
- Paints/ Inks/ Solvent/ Spent Organic Solvent
- Pharmaceutical waste
- Pesticide
- PCB Transformer Oils
- Ozone-depleting gases (such as Freons)
Features of Waste Incineration
- Minimizing the Quantity of Waste
- Enables managing the Waste efficiently
- A source for generating of Heat and Power
- Minimizing Pollution Compared to Landfills
- Minimizing the requirement of Transportation
- Help to Control Odor and Noise
- Eliminates Methane Gas Production
